The objective of GNT is to improve the lives of people, especially children through education, community as well as emergency relief projects. GNT is working with the key stakeholders such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and migration, Committee of Women Affairs, Local authorities, INGOs UN and donor agencies such as, EU, GIZ, UNICEF, WFP, and others in an integrated approach to connect poor and vulnerable communities to quality education, health, water and sanitation services.Good Neighbors in Tajikistan (GNT) now searches for an experienced Local Fundraiser to develop and implement local fundraising strategies, strengthen partnerships with institutional/other donors and private sector actors, and mobilize financial and non-financial resources to support the organization’s programs while ensuring transparency, donor engagement, and long-term sustainabilityMain Responsibilities:• Develop and implement local fundraising strategies and annual fundraising plans aligned with the organization’s priorities and resource mobilization goals (at least 80% of planned activities).• Identify, map, and establish partnerships with local donors, private sector companies, banks, philanthropic organizations, embassies, and community stakeholders to mobilize financial and in-kind support (30 potential donors and partners).• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors through regular communication, meetings, presentations, and partnership engagement activities (at least 10 new local partners or donors). • Explore and develop innovative fundraising approaches, including digital fundraising platforms, donation applications, online campaigns, charity events, crowdfunding, and community-based fundraising initiatives (at least 1–2 digital donation platforms or applications with at least 300 online donors or digital supporters).• Prepare fundraising proposals, concept notes, sponsorship packages, partnership letters, and promotional materials to support resource mobilization efforts.• Coordinate and organize fundraising campaigns, donor events, charity activities, and public awareness initiatives to increase visibility and public engagement (raise at least USD 20,000 with at least 2–3 fundraising events or campaigns).• Work closely with program and communication teams to develop compelling stories, beneficiary cases, and communication materials that strengthen donor interest and fundraising outcomes.• Ensure proper documentation, transparency, and accountability of fundraising activities in line with organizational policies and donor requirements.• Prepare monthly fundraising reports to WARO (West Asia Regional Office), progress updates, and analytical briefs for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.• Support negotiation and formalization of partnership agreements, memorandum of understanding (MoUs), and cooperation arrangements with donors and private sector actors (at least 3 partnership agreements or MoUs).• Support the design and layout of newsletters, brochures, and case story journals.• Ensure at least 1 (one) Impact story per month published in GN Library.• Capture high-quality photos and videos during field activities and events and make a bank of photos and GNT videos and ensure all communication products comply with GNT branding standards.• Check donation boxes on quarterly basis.Required experience• At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of communications/ promote visibilities, on similar role.• Strong writing and editing, analytical and reporting writing skills.• Experience in web designing and content production, copywriting and editing is an asset.• Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint and other software.• Very good communication (oral and written) and presentation skills in English, Tajik, Russian and Uzbek is an asset.• Ability to work in intercultural environments and on multiple tasks.• Innovative and ability to work with minimal supervision.• Resourcefulness and strong networking skills.• General understanding of project management principles. • Understanding of media relations and digital media strategies.• Ability to work in intercultural environments.• Ability to work on multiple tasks.• Time management skills, attention to details and ability to prioritize work.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION• Incomplete applications will not be considered. • Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.ONLY GOOD NEIGHBORS INTERNATIONAL APPLICATION FORM SHALL BE CONSIDERED FOR THE SHORT-LIST, recommendation letters are welcomed.
