Dushanbe Serena Hotel is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Sales & Marketing to lead the hotel’s commercial strategy, drive revenue growth, strengthen brand positioning, and manage key market relationships across corporate, leisure, MICE, travel trade, and government segments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and revenue targets.
Lead and mentor the Sales & Marketing team, setting clear KPIs and performance standards.
Identify new business opportunities and grow corporate, government, diplomatic, travel trade, MICE, and leisure accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, agencies, and industry stakeholders.
Oversee pricing, promotional campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and brand communications in coordination with revenue management and operations.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to optimize commercial performance.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, sales reports, and performance analyses for management review.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and managing high-value accounts.
Strong understanding of hotel sales, marketing, revenue optimization, digital channels, and market segmentation.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Russian and/or Tajik is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage cross-functional collaboration.
