Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international humanitarian medical organization providing emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, lack of access to healthcare, and natural or man-made disasters.
MSF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan (MoHSPP) and the National Tuberculosis Programme (NTP), is implementing a project integrating TB and HIV care at primary and secondary healthcare levels in Khorog, Rushan, and other agreed districts in GBAO.
Job Location: Khorog, Tajikistan
Main Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor the implementation of technical logistics activities according to MSF standards, protocols, and procedures.
Supervise construction and rehabilitation activities, including technical aspects and work schedules.
Install and maintain ICT systems, communications software, and hardware.
Supervise mechanical servicing and maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
Lead and supervise the logistics team and assign daily tasks.
Prepare work schedules and monitor the quality of work.
Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
Manage materials, tools, stock, orders, and records related to technical activities.
Plan maintenance and technical checks together with the line manager.
Participate in monthly reporting and perform other delegated tasks related to the position.
Requirements:
Secondary education is essential.
Engineering or construction education/diploma is desirable.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
English and local language skills are essential.
Computer literacy.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
