Good Neighbors in Tajikistan (GNT) has been working in Tajikistan since 1998. The objective of GNT is to improve the lives of people, especially children through education, community as well as emergency relief projects. GNT is working with the key stakeholders such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and migration, Committee of Women Affairs, Local authorities, INGOs UN and donor agencies such as, EU, GIZ, UNICEF, WFP, and others in an integrated approach to connect poor and vulnerable communities to quality education, health, water and sanitation services.
Good Neighbors in Tajikistan (GNT) now searches for an experienced Medical Programs Support/Clerk to provide administrative, logistical, and documentation support to the implementation of medical and health-related projects. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely communication, proper filing of project documents, and support in organizing project activities, trainings, meetings, and field visits.
Key Responsibilities
A. Administrative Support
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to medical program activities.
• Prepare official letters, memos, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
• Maintain organized filing systems for project documents, both electronic and hard copy.
• Support scheduling of meetings, trainings, and project-related events.
• Ensure proper archiving of project records according to organizational procedures.
B. Documentation and Reporting
• Collect, organize, and maintain project data and records.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Maintain beneficiary databases and project monitoring records.
• Support data entry and verification for project activities.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting documents.
C. Logistics and Procurement Support
• Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and awareness sessions.
• Coordinate venue arrangements, participant registration, and logistical requirements.
• Support procurement processes by collecting quotations and preparing documentation.
• Monitor inventory and distribution records of medical supplies and project materials.
D. Financial and Compliance Support
• Prepare payment requests and supporting documentation.
• Collect and organize invoices, receipts, attendance sheets, and other financial documents.
• Support compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of project and beneficiary information.
E. Coordination and Communication
• Liaise with health facilities, local authorities, partners, and beneficiaries as requested.
• Support communication between project teams and stakeholders.
• Assist during monitoring visits and project evaluations.
Required experience
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Public Health, Health Management, Business
Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in administrative or project support roles.
• Experience working with NGOs, health projects, or development programs is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Good record-keeping and documentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Fluency in English and Tajik.
• Working knowledge of Russian is an asset.
