KT&G one of the world’s leading tobacco companies looking to hire a Marketing Data & Operations Specialist to support the Marketing team with fast and accurate data preparation, KPI reporting, and operational processes related to POS equipment compensation, contractor coordination, event/activation support, and inventory (TMC) tracking. The specialist will work primarily in advanced Excel, consolidating inputs from internal systems and multiple manual sources (DR/TSM/hostess/vendors), ensuring data quality and timely deliverables.
TERMS OF REFERENCE (ToR)
1. Position Information
• Job Title: Marketing Data & Operations Specialist
• Department: Marketing
• Location: Dushanbe (with occasional field visits to regions)
• Reporting to: Marketing Manager and Head of Office
• Employment Type: Full-time
2. Key Duties and Responsibilities
A) Analytics & KPI reporting
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly KPI reports and ad-hoc analytical outputs in Excel based on changing business requests.
• Consolidate and clean data from the cloud business platform and manual files from TSM/hostess/vendors and etc.
• Build and maintain Excel reporting tools (PivotTables, Power Query pipelines, smart tables, templates, dashboards, charts).
• Perform data validation, consistency checks, and anomaly detection (e.g., hostess reporting, POS lists, KPI intermediate results for TSM).
• Support performance tracking for campaigns/activities and provide structured intermediate summaries upon request.
B) Events & activations support
• Track and reconcile event/activation budgets: maintain budget trackers, compare planned vs actual costs, highlight variances, and prepare summary notes for the marketing team.
• Support event preparation and coordination: guest lists, logistics checklists, and supplier follow-ups.
• Prepare post-event summary packages (participants lists, costs tracking, materials usage, basic results).
C) Contractors / printing / production support
• Coordinate printing and production requests (coverage lists, backwall key visuals, POS materials), track timelines and deliverables.
• Maintain registers of requests and closing documents from contractors; follow up on deadlines and approvals.
D) POS equipment compensation processes
• Prepare monthly POS payment registers for equipment placement (calculations, eligibility lists, supporting files).
• Support documentation flow: reconciliation statements, acts, registers, and supporting evidence packages.
• Coordinate input with relevant teams (e.g., Sales / Finance) and ensure completeness and accuracy of records.
E) Inventory / TMC tracking
• Maintain basic inventory records for marketing materials and equipment (in/out movements, balances, issuance logs).
• Support periodic inventory checks and reconciliation of physical vs recorded stock.
F) Field & Stakeholder Coordination
• Conduct field visits to regions (WS, open market, retailers, etc.) to check planned activities and report results to management.
• Coordinate with fields teams to collect inputs, clarify data issues, and ensure timely execution reporting.
3. Qualifications & Requirements
A) Technical Skills (Required)
Advanced Excel proficiency, including:
• PivotTables and complex aggregations
• Power Query (data consolidation and transformation)
• XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH
• SUMIFS / COUNTIFS and logical functions
• Smart tables, charts, and data visualization in Excel
• Data validation and quality checks
• Basic VBA / macros (automation of routine tasks)
Preferred / Advantage
• Power BI knowledge is a strong advantage.
Languages
• Russian and Tajik – required.
• English – highly preferred (for emails and reporting).
Work Experience
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in reporting, analytics, operations support, or similar roles
Education
• Higher education is required (Economics / Finance / Mathematics / IT / Marketing or related field).
Personal Competencies
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Fast execution and ability to work with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
• Clear communication and effective coordination with internal teams and external contractors.
• Stress tolerance and ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
• Structured, systematic approach to processes and documentation.
