Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is looking for a qualified, capable, flexible and motivated Supply Activity Officer to join its GBAO PHC Project in Khorog, Tajikistan.
Main responsibilities:
Manage daily supply activities according to MSF procedures, standards and protocols.
Support the efficient administration of supply processes at project level.
Handle order processing activities and ensure orders are properly followed up.
Carry out purchasing activities and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Support transport and customs procedures for the clearance and movement of goods.
Coordinate administrative procedures related to supply activities.
Check that supply processes comply with MSF standards and requirements.
Monitor supply activities to help prevent stock shortages, losses and excess stock.
Maintain accurate supply documentation and records.
Coordinate with relevant departments, suppliers and other counterparts as required.
Prepare and maintain reports and other supply-related documentation.
Carry out other delegated tasks related to supply activities.
Requirements:
Secondary education is essential.
Technical diploma in supply chain, logistics or commerce is an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain or logistics-related work.
Experience with MSF field logistics is an advantage.
Good computer skills.
English is essential.
Russian and local language skills are essential.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work accurately and manage multiple tasks.
Flexible, responsible and able to work under pressure.
Strong teamwork and service orientation.
