Project on “Afforestation and Agroforestry to Combat Desertification and Increase local Incomes in Tajikistan"A Project Financed by the Korea Forest ServiceJob title: DriverLocation: Dushanbe, TajikistanBackground This project is implemented in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on the cooperation in the field of forestry between the Korea Forest Service of the Republic of Korea and the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The project is implemented by the Research Institute of Forestry of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.Duties and Responsibilities:• Drive office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collection of mail, documents and other supplies and equipment as directed by the supervisors;• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle: carry out driver responsible tasks as detailed by supervisor, perform other repairs and arrange for external repairs and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition;• Responsible for conducting physical repairs and maintenance of the project vehicles;• Assisting in performance maintenance arrangements pertaining to all the office vehicles and in creation of the requests of spare parts for the office vehicles;• Inspecting all office vehicles, advising on vehicle maintenance related issues and spare parts supplies;• Provide advice on procurement of spare parts and assist in getting quotations.• Log official trips, daily mileage, gas/fuel consumption, and assist with the annual vehicle inspection.• Takes responsibility for safe use and handling of project property under his/her custody• Ensure that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident.• Being at a permanent disposition in case of emergency.• Performing other duties as required.Qualifications and experience:• Having at least five (5) years of progressive experience in the areas of driving and maintaining vehicles while working for humanitarian organization• Basic knowledge of Vehicle routine service/maintenance, Communication skill and is required.• A valid Driver’s License• Driving skill with good recording history• Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Office) is desired.Closing date: 11/04/2025Documents, including CV and Cover letter should be submitted to the following address: 9/1 Balami str., Dushanbe, Tajikistan (building of the Research Institute of Forestry) and/or by e-mail to: songkh8014@gmail.com; copy to : tojidin.saifudinov.72@list.ru
