Job Overview: Our Woodland Hills-based web development firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team as Web Technical Support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to clients, ensuring their websites run smoothly and any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. The successful candidate must have experience in WordPress, Shopify, or a similar platform, and possess a deep understanding of e-Commerce platforms, as well as HTML and CSS.
Responsibilities:
-Provide technical support to clients via ---Zendesk ticketing system, email, phone, or chat, ensuring timely resolution of their issues.
-Maintain customer relations through timely communication on receipt of support tickets, expected dates of completion, and follow-ups.
-Work closely with clients to identify and resolve technical issues related to their websites.
-Troubleshoot and resolve simple technical issues on the fly.
-Collaborate with the development team to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
-Communicate technical information to non-technical clients in an easy-to-understand manner.
-Manage all tasks on the project management system (Wrike) to ensure all reported issues get resolved in a timely manner.
-Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of the technical support strategy.
-Oversee day-to-day operations of a remote Technical Support Team in multiple time zones.
-Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the support process.
Requirements:
-Experience as a web developer technical support or similar role.
-Experience with ticketing systems.
-Experience with task management systems.
-Experience with either WordPress or Shopify, and a deep understanding of HTML and CSS.
-Experience with eCommerce platforms is a plus.
-Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
-Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
-Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
-A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
